SIE supported a client with the design and delivery of a replacement spill tray for their transhipper hoppers, ensuring the new system aligned seamlessly with existing infrastructure. 

With limited design drawings available and minimal tolerance for error, we undertook a detailed 3D scan to capture the hopper geometry to maximise accuracy. The processed reality model was overlaid onto our design model, allowing design checks and early identification of interface constraints.

This workflow ensured confidence in fit‑up before fabrication commenced. SIE then produced a complete set of design drawings, enabling efficient and reliable fabrication.
